why does the bay play the same songs over and over when there are thousands of good classic rock songs to play? on the weekends its even worse because its the same few bands in those classic blocks instead of some smaller ones. please cut back on the 4 elton john and steve miller songs that are played every few hours because it's very lame.

You can't please everyone all of the time.... I can't speak for the programming because I don't do that. All I can say is that radio stations in general play what the majority want to hear. Personally, I could do without ever hearing an Elton John song ever again, but that's just me. A lot of listeners want to hear "Levon" and the like, and who am I to say that they are wrong. If it were up to me I'de be playing tons of Ramones tunes. Everyones different, and that's ok.

If you don't like it then don't listen. They are the best station in the area I think. "The Bay" is better than 94.7 because at least they aren't passing Phil Collins off as Classic Rock and they are better than 98 Rock because they actually play music and shut up. "Jack" probably has more variety but about half of what makes up that variety is terrible. "The Bay" is what it is, and that's just good classics that we all know. How about some Janis for me since I'm sticking up for you

i would like to hear more late 60's and early 70s rock. How about some Kinks, Animals, Dave Clarke 5, Amboy Dukes, Joe Cocker, The Dead, Allmans, Jefferson Airplane, etc. A little less Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, and Steve Miller would be nice. Otherwise, we listen all of the time.
