I see that you mention Stern as a "hero". WHat do you think of his show on Serius compared to FM?

It's "Sirius" first off. Second off, HS is completely unfunny, untalented, and not relevant. Even the owner of this site has to agree with that. Well?

I admire anyone that can make a ton of money doing an unconventional show. Hero? No, but "what a guy", yup.

Sterns show is so unfunny now. It's a show where million-airs bitch about problems like their limo not having good heating controls (Stern last week). These leaches have made millions and are so untalented that they now can't relate to their own listeners. Artie is leaving the show because he knows how unfunny and irrelevant it is now. It's a waste of his time to even show up. I have Serius and have had it long before Stern got there. I enjoy the music, but his show just straight out sucks. A bunch of spoiled minimal talent millionaires bitching about nonsense is all it is. Stern rose to what he is now on fart jokes, it's not like he's a genius. His show now just blows. Retire already and have fun hanging with the pretentious a-holes in The Hampton's that you used to pretend to despise. a-hole.

HS is a legend and that is all. He's probably tired now (I don't have Serius, so I don't know), but he's a icon in that he made millions and was able to be who he is in a field that pays dirt and controls everyone horribly. When you are banking millions for just being 'you', then you can tell me how much Howard Stern sucks. Until then, just chill.

HS was at the right place at the right time his whole career. Otherwise, he's a minimal "talent" that surrounds himself with dimwits to look good. Think Jerry Springer but with morning radio, not that Sirius is even radio. Even as a no-talent, HS must ave that radio ego. It must feel pretty bad to realize that he has not even half of the listeners that any major market morning radio jock has. Yeah, Sirius has 7 million subs, but not all 7 mill are listening to Stern, and NYC alone has 15 million in the radio market. He's got an equivalent audience as if he were on a single station in Houston at best. Watch your step because it can be a doozy on the way down!

I haven't listened in years and apparently neither has anyone else. That type of low-brow mean spirited radio is dead now. Doesn't one of the shows on his channel feature the radio guy in Florida that got fired for slaughtering a live pig in his stations parking lot? I remember hearing something about this fat loser getting a job on Howie's toy radio channel. Compelling radio. I'll stick with "The Bay", DC101, and WTMD. Got all of the bases covered with that.
